ATLANTIC SAECA is an enterprise consisting of 100% Paraguayan capital founded in 1973 by Mr. Kornelius Walde and Ernst Helmuth Siemens, who began the activities of the firm with a capital of US$ 6,000 in premises of 200 m2 and with 4 employees.

Initially the enterprise was established as a limited liability company. In 1994 the enterprise was transformed into a Joint-Stock Company. In 1995 the enterprise went on to quote its stock in the Asuncion stock-exchange, being the first enterprise in its category to take this step.

From the beginning the enterprise developed in the national market as an enterprise specialized in import, sale and wholesale distribution of hardware. Later on other product lines were incorporated, like waterproofing materials for construction, electric tools, stainless products and cutlery for the home, products for agriculture and industry.

The constant growth of the enterprise made it necessary to move several times to bigger premises until finally reaching the inauguration of its own premises in October of 1998. The installations of the building itself have a size of 11,000 m2 of covered area, of which 7,000 m2 are for depots. The modern installations have a large showroom and centralize the administration, sales, depots and distribution. The building was designed strategically to guarantee better attention to the requests of the customer and a quick dispatch of his orders.

It is important to point out the foreign suppliers’ trust that the enterprise has gained throughout the years, which allows us to be competitive and offer our customers the best products and at the best prices.

Today the enterprise has more than 90 collaborators, more than 2,000 active customers, more than 8,000 different articles distributed in the whole country with its own fleet of trucks, maintaining the highest participation in the market in its sales category nowadays.
